First Look At The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Faded Spruce” DV7442-001

Nike continues to introduce more colourways to the Nike Air Max Penny 1 as it returns this 2022. While the OG Orlando Home and Away colourways headlines the releases, the Swoosh brand also brings in new flavours. The Nike Air Max Penny 1 “Faded Spruce” joins the growing roster of Penny 1 renditions for the year. Whether you’re a Basketball fan or not, you should know how iconic the Penny signature line was!

Keeping a subtle makeover, this “Faded Spruce” colourway features a dominant Black upper with hints of Red and Emerald. Mesh, nubuck, and textile comprise the body of the shoe, while foam makes up the lateral wing where the Swoosh resides.

More Swooshes appear on the tongue, sockliner, and forefoot sections of the Air Max Penny 1. Red outlines cover the lining of the nubuck mudguard.

Penny Hardaway’s iconic logo adorns the heel panel in White and Red. The visible air bubble on the heel comes tinted to keep the low-profile look consistent throughout the shoe.

The wavy traction pattern with thick flex grooves boast a large Swoosh logo in Dark Red. A Nike Air label on the heel section comes with cracked graphics on the plastic shank.
