The Atlanta-based streetwear and sneaker boutique A Ma Maniere returns once again for another Air Jordan collab. While this is not an actual Air Jordan model, the silhouette pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s pre-Air Jordan basketball shoe. The Nike Air Ship “A Ma Maniere” DX4976-141 deviates from the usual vintage themes found on the Air Jordan Retro models for a simple makeover. This release will also bring a matching apparel collection with A Ma Maniere branding.

The Nike Air Ship remains a rare silhouette due to its limited release. As the main design inspiration for the Air Jordan 1, the Nike Air Ship rocks familiar designs such as the thick ankle collar, toe perforations, and large Swooshes. This “A Ma Maniere” rendition boasts a smooth leather upper in White. The Swoosh logos, lining, Nike Air on the tongue, and outsole come in Game Royal pigments.

It’s noticeable how the shoe is a far cry from all the previous Jordan x A Ma Maniere releases. The Air Jordans 3, 1, and 2 all came in vintage hues with Burgundy hues. Even the upcoming Air Jordan 4 Retro x A Ma Maniere features a dominant Purple and Burgundy upper makeover.

Releasing on August 26, 2022, via the A Ma Maniere website, keep an eye out for this extremely limited release. Only 2,300 pairs will launch, each pair individually numbered inside the nylon tongue.
