Loud blasts of colours combined with various upper fabrics make up this Nike Air Max 1 x Concepts “Heavy”. It’s just one of the three colourways included in the Nike Air Max 1 x Concepts Pack together with the “Mellow” and “Bandana” renditions. Let’s take a detailed look at the official photos as the collection lands on March 19, 2022 .

The “concept” of this three-a-pack Air Max 1 collab is a homage to the Summer of Love phenomenon from 1967. It happened in the Haight-Ashbury neighbourhood in San Francisco, California where the hippie culture promoted love and peace; as well as outdoor musical concerts. Nike and Concepts’ unique take flaunts paisley designs, camouflage, and more.

This Nike Air Max 1 x Concepts “Heavy” features an acid wash denim base in Sky Blue. The military camo mudguard adds “not so stealthy” details to the standard-breaking aesthetic of the shoe. Orange paisley prints on the heel panel blend well with the Swoosh on the sides donning tricolours of White, Yellow, and Orange.

Brown and Sky Blue corduroy fabrics reinforce the interior lining, and upper lace loops, respectively. The Brown suede tongue holds the colourful Nike x Concepts tag. More “Concepts” lettering around the ankle collar comes with a unique pattern in varying hues.

A special sockliner also comes with a special floral pattern on both sides.

A guitar pick hangtag and a special Concepts box finish off the bright and brilliant colourway on the Air Max 1.

Scheduled for a March 2022 release, you definitely should not miss out on a pair on any of these three. Expect a limited run as Nike celebrates Air Max’s 35th anniversary in full blast.
