Back in the 2002-2003 NBA season, Kobe wore a variety of styles from multiple brands. One of the most popular creps he wore from Nike was the Nike Air Flight Huarache. Now, this Player Exclusive colourway gets a public release for the first time ever. Below are official images of the Nike Air Flight Huarache “Lakers Away”, set for a potential 2023 release.

The Nike Air Flight Huarache “Lakers Away” features signature purple and gold colours on the neoprene underlays. Black nubuck overlays cover the front, midfoot, and rear structures of the shoe. Purple Nike Air labels appear on the heel and the TPU heel counter.

Inside the foam midsole is a heel and forefoot Nike Air unit for maximum cushioning and impact protection.

The laces come in black along with the circular tongue patch. Gold Huarache labels on the tongue stand out atop the purple perforated neoprene sleeve. More gold accents appear on the interior lining and the sockliner.

Purple and gold comprise the multidirectional herringbone traction pattern on the outsole.

You won’t find any official Lakers logos or Kobe Bryant signatures on this shoe. This is still a must-cop pair for true LA Lakers and Kobe fans regardless!
