Pharrell’s “HUMANRACE” EVOLUTION Pro Will Set You Back £800

If the adidas Jellyfish price tag raised eyebrows, Pharrell’s next move is a next level. The Pharrell x adidas EVOLUTION Pro “HUMANRACE”(KJ1992) is set to land as a limited concept release. A £800 trainer backed by adidas’ fastest marathon DNA, filtered through Pharrell’s Humanrace lens, and aimed at collectors who like their footwear rare.

Build Quality and the £1,000 Feel

The silhouette takes cues from the Adizero Adios Pro EVO 1, the marathon weapon built for speed and setting PB’s, but the EVOLUTION Pro keeps that futuristic performance shape, yet turns the volume up with a cleaner, almost clinical colour palette. The upper comes in a lightweight Monomesh build that looks semi-translucent under the right light, then it hits you with the real talking point: the raised dot texture across the upper and Three Stripes. From a distance it looks minimal. Up close it feels like something very premium.

The Next Step in Speed

Underfoot, the EVOLUTION Pro leans into adidas’ top-end cushioning with Lightstrike Pro. That wider base matters too. It gives the shoe more presence, more balance, and more comfort for anyone actually wearing it beyond a photo. The outsole brings in a touch-reactive, sensory idea as well, pushing the whole “future runner” vibe even further, a bit lie we’ve seen with the Nike Mind 002. This isn’t meant to be a safe daily trainer, and at around £800, you wouldn’t expect it to be either.

Pharrell has been circling adidas Running for a while now, from his limited London Marathon moments to newer takes that sit closer to everyday wear. The EVOLUTION Pro is the extreme end of that story. Rare. Expensive. Dropping on January 24th, 2026, expect limited stock, fast sell-outs, and plenty of talk on the price point.
