Premium Vibes Take Over the Nike Air Max Plus Leather “Bred”

For the most part, the Air Max Plus has pretty much remained exactly the same since it first debuted back in 1998. But with the upcoming Nike Air Max Plus Leather “Bred,” the Sean McDowell-designed silhouette is getting one of its more luxurious makeovers yet. So if you want a sneaker that’s guaranteed to stand the test of time, this might just be what you’re looking for.

While most Air Max Plus models are decked out in mesh or even neoprene, this one is crafted predominantly in buttery soft leather. Taking over the entire upper, this high-end material gives the classic running shoe a high-end look and feel that’s sure to turn heads wherever you go. Even the palm tree-inspired caging system is decked out in it, similar to the A-COLD-WALL* collaboration from 2023.

Along the lateral and medial sidewalls, the Nike Swoosh is painted in a fiery “University Red” colour scheme, and the hexagonal TN badge on the tongue is outlined in “Metallic Gold.” All of this then rests on top of a chunky Tuned Air midsole that’s as comfortable as it gets.
