adidas Forum Low x Home Alone "Kevin McCallister"

“KEVIN!” That’s probably the very first reaction you’d make when you see the unique adidas Forum Low x Home Alone colab. Featuring notable details from the popular 90s Christmas film “Home Alone” starring Macaulay Culkin as “Kevin McCallister”.

Paying tribute to the similar colour blocking of the adidas Forum Low that Kevin McCallister wore in the movie, adidas added more twists. This time by adding movie references all throughout the shoe, as well as extra accessories.

The adidas Forum Low debuted in 1984 as the Three Stripes’ premier basketball shoe. It replaced the old reliable adidas Top Ten as the brand introduces new sneaker technology.

With a hook and pull strap on the collar, the adidas Forum Low focused on durability and support. It also arrived in high, mid, and low-top versions.

The shoe constantly hit the market for decades. But because of consistent marketing and promotion, the adidas Forum got trending recently once again. A lot of classic and new colourways in 2020 brought memorable moments for those who managed to play basketball in them. Nevertheless, fans of the Three Stripes are thrilled.

This upcoming special adidas Forum Low features the 90s movie “Home Alone”. Cream White leather makes up most of the upper. While the midfoot strap appears with a canvas material that boasts a tear-away detail that exposes the adidas logo in red. The rest of the Three Stripes detail also come in University Red.

Various “Home Alone” references can be seen on the shoe. There’s the burnt effect on the forefoot and the sides, as well as a fire extinguisher heel pull tab. All of which pays homage to Kevin McCallister’s clever traps as he singlehandedly protects his home from the “Wet Bandits”.

A wool-like fabric on the tongue highlights the “Home Alone” logo.

Various sockliners will arrive together with the shoe. The sockliners feature the “Wet Bandits” and Kevin’s “Battle Plans”. Extra pins and hangtags also bring more detail to the classic Christmas movie.
