Adidas launched the NMD S1 in 2021 to welcome the latest phase of the “nomad” lifestyle shoe. The design retains the Primeknit upper and Boost foam midsole, but this time, the midsole has a thick TPU cage which encases the bouncy foam. Thick adidas Trefoil symbols serve as the main traction pattern, mimicking rugged-style outsoles from trail sneakers.
