adidas OZWEEGO Blue White

A sophisticated drop from adidas Originals, in 2019 adidas introduced the OZWEEGO! Rock this colourway that boasts soft hues.

The adidas OZWEEGO remains an undisputed chunky silhouette for the Three Stripes. A direct remodelled tribute to the original OZWEEGO from way back in 1996, the modern OZWEEGO introduced in 2019 brought back certain popular features. Most notably the multiple overlays on the upper and the thick and bulky sole.

There have been a number of adidas OZWEEGO models throughout its long history, but the 2019 version took its inspiration from the third model. The placement of the three stripes on the sides and the outsole are highly similar to its predecessors.

The 2019 adidas OZWEEGO features a combination of mesh, suede, and TPU materials on the upper to make for an old-school vibe. A TPU strand can be seen on the eyestay and runs through the heel area to provide a lockdown fit when laced up. Similar to the Yeezy 500, the suede overlays are placed on the eyestay and the lower panel. While other colourways sport a reflective material on certain parts of the shoe, providing a nice subtle detail.

The bulky moulded midsole is equipped with adiPRENE+, a classic adidas’ old-school cushioning system. Down below is the decoupled outsole in an anatomical traction pattern.

Releasing throughout 2021, this adidas OZWEEGO arrives in a Halo Blue with a Cream White sole. The suede panels sing with a greyish vibe toning down the rest of the blue mesh upper.
