An immortalised colourway of the iconic adidas Ultraboost returns time and time again. This adidas Ultraboost 4.0 DNA “Triple White” arrives with essential updates for an “ultra” comfy ride. You won’t even have to worry about cleaning the SprintWeb sole as the Brand with the Three Stripes incorporated a black rubber outsole.
Next to the Yeezys, the most popular silhouette is the adidas Ultraboost. Its arrival in 2015 together with other Boost trainers paved the way for the future of adidas; specifically when it comes to top-notch sneaker technology. The fourth edition retains the beloved build of the popular silhouette as the OG DNA remains intact.
Various iterations and versions came out through the years as the adidas Ultraboost made headlines. Part of the triple threat trainers from adidas together with the first Yeezy Boost and the NMD; the Ultraboost catered to runners. 2015 was a breakthrough year for adidas as Boost cushioning technology climbed up the rankings of the best foam cushioning among brands.
For the fourth installment, adidas retained the classic build of the shoe, with only a few updates for a better fit. Primeknit fabric makes a return, with a new upper weave for improved fit and added reinforcement to the shoe. Because of the subtle change, only a few can tell the difference really.
The separate lace cage, plastic heel clip, and full-length Boost foam remain unchanged. As well as the Torsion midfoot shank and Sprintweb outsole made with Continental rubber.
This adidas Ultraboost 4.0 DNA “Triple White” arrives in the ever-so-popular all-white makeover. But this time, adidas decided to change things a little bit by changing the sole to black. A slight tweak but pretty much the same fire shoe that we all loved back then.
It’s available now on the adidas website and select retailers worldwide.
