This foam midsole leveraged the brand in the rankings as the extremely comfortable Boost provided impact protection like no other. The adidas Ultraboost Light “White Solar Red” introduces a whole new era for the Ultraboost line with this updated foam. Is it Boost era all over again? We don’t know yet, but we all know this is going to be another comfortable shoe for sure.
Running shoes showcase brands’ dedication to producing the most comfortable trainer for various distances. Short-distance trainers usually go for speed, while marathon and long-distance runners go for maximum cushioning and durability. The adidas Ultraboost Light seems to be in-between, making it a versatile running trainer.
Adidas first introduced the Ultraboost in 2015 along with other Boost-equipped sneakers like the Yeezy and NMD. This footwear running line became one of the most popular models thanks to the versatility of the shoe. Fast forward to 2023, Boost gets lighter but still bouncy with the Ultraboost Light.
Sticking to true Ultraboost form, the adidas Ultraboost Light features a Primeknit+ FORGED upper and a plastic lace cage. The heel counter also returns to keep the structure intact and the fit consistent.
A large Boost foam midsole comprises the sole. It’s 30% lighter than the normal Boost foam. Gridlines and dimples on the midsole showcase the innovation of adidas.
This adidas Ultraboost Light “White Solar Red” arrives as the debut colourway of the new running model. It features a White Primeknit upper with Black three stripes. Solar Red accents adorn the heel counter and adidas logo on the tongue.
