WMNS Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro "Atmosphere Pink / Bubblegum"

Ladies! This one is for all of y’all. Jordan Brand closes out the year with three Air Jordan 1 High releases in December alone. This WMNS Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Atmosphere Pink / Bubblegum” takes inspiration from MJ’s adoration for bubblegum. Three different leather materials bring a glossy and premium finish to this women’s exclusive J1.

2021 will go down as one of the most memorable years for the Air Jordan 1. Jordan Brand put out new heat colourways right from the start of the year. And they look to close it out stronger with highly anticipated J1s. This women’s colourway in particular, utilises a simple MJ story to come up with a fresh new flavour.

The Air Jordan 1 came out in 1985 as Michael Jordan’s first signature basketball shoe. It arrived in Highs, Mids, and Lows. An icon then and now, the J1 transcended beyond basketball and into streetwear – where it became a key piece for the rise of sneaker culture.

Leather makes up the Air Jordan 1, together with a nylon tongue and a rubber cupsole. An encapsulated Air unit in the heel provides decent cushioning.

The Air Jordan 1 High OG Retro “Atmosphere Pink” features ripple leather, smooth leather, and patent leather. Also called Air Jordan 1  High “Bubblegum”, Obsidian Blue makes up the toe, eyestay, Swoosh tongue, and ankle collar. Smooth leather in White shifts to a lighter hue on the quarter. Pink patent leather panels adorn the vamp, collar, heel panel, and outsole.

Unique details such as the Nike Air hangtag and the namesake bubblegum splat on the right pair complete the theme.
