A unique makeover just in time for Autumn lands on the Air Jordan 1 High. While most eyes are on the upcoming Chicago Reimagined, various Air Jordan 1 Highs are dropping before then. One of them is the Air Jordan 1 High “Heirloom”, appearing in a leather and canvas upper combination. Reminds us of the Pollen 1s but in a more muted tone!
It’s not often we get regular Air Jordan 1s with different materials. The Chenille Swoosh on the women’s exclusive pair and the full patent leather Bred were just some of the renditions we’ve seen in recent memory. Either way, fans of minimalist designs can enjoy this new “Heirloom” colourway.
Introduced in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 kicked off Michael Jordan’s historic sneaker line with Nike. Designed by Peter Moore, the Air Jordan 1 features a leather upper with Swooshes on the sides and a Wings logo on the collar. The Wings logo became an iconic logo which made its way on the Air Jordan 2 before getting replaced with the more popular Jumpman logo.
Air Jordan 1s are a mainstay when it comes to Jordan Brand’s lineup. Different colourways with various storytelling design inspirations appear every season. We may have a new colourway every time, but that won’t stop us from loving the shoe!
This Air Jordan 1 High “Heirloom” revamps the usual leather construction and features a Black canvas base. Vachetta Tan leather overlays make up the rest of the shoe for a premium finish. Both the Nike Air on the tongue and the lateral Wings blend with the upper colours.
The shoe comes with two extra laces in Red and Blue for more vibrance.
Keep an eye out for this pair this September 2022 on the Nike UK website and select retailers worldwide.
