Air Jordan 1 High Retro "True Blue" DZ5485-410

2023 marks the 35th anniversary of the Air Jordan 3 True Blue. However, Jordan Brand’s not bringing back the AJ3, but rather incorporating the iconic colourway to a different retro. The Air Jordan 1 High Retro “True Blue” headlines the first Air Jordan 1 High release in 2023. No elephant prints here, but the colour combination is still impressive! Definitely a must-cop for fans of this colour scheme.

After the Lost and Found Air Jordan 1 took the spotlight among Air Jordan 1 releases in 2022, we move on to another lineup. Kicking things off in 2023 is a Blue and Grey Air Jordan 1 High, inspired by the True Blue popularised by the 3s. This is becoming a trend among early Air Jordan retros where they switch iconic colourways.

This will be the first time that the True Blue makeover will make its way to the Air Jordan 1. First introduced in 1988 on the Air Jordan 3, the True Blue is a famous colourway known for deviating from the usual Red, White, and Black colours.

This became a perfect colourway when Michael Jordan eventually joined the Washington Wizards in 2001 where he also rocked the True Blue 3s.

Now, the popular non-Chicago Bulls colour scheme arrives once more to celebrate its 35th anniversary. We kinda hoped it was the actual True Blue 3s, but with the White Cement 3 dropping in 2023, it’s all good!

The Air Jordan 1 High Retro “True Blue” features a White leather base with True Blue hues on the front and suede Cement Grey on the rear.

Extra laces and a special Blue/White box complete the fresh new colourway.
