More Los Angeles Lakers colours arrive on the Air Jordan 1! This time, the Lows take the spotlight with subtle Purple and Gold hues. The Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Dark Concord” teams up with the Mid version of the shoe. But this pair seems to be the “Away” version. Since the beginning, the Air Jordan 1 was revolutionary. Launched as the flagship Nike signature basketball shoe for Michael Jordan, the AJ1 became as stellar as the man it represents. Officially released in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 eventually made its wear into skateboarding and streetwear once the newer basketball styles came out.
What set the shoe apart from the rest is the Jordan Wings logo on the lateral ankle collar – meant to showcase “His Airness”. Modern Air Jordan 1 releases now feature Jumpman logos, but the classic Nike Air on the tongue remains more highly coveted.
This Air Jordan 1 Low “Black Dark Concord” features an all-Black leather base with Dark Concord hues on the Vamp and Swoosh. Yellow Taxi pigments appear on the lining, Jumpman on the tongue, and Jordan Wings on the heel.
