Another month, another Air Jordan 1 colourway. Jordan Brand gets ready for spring with the new Air Jordan 1 Low “Grey Pink Black”. Comprised of a Shadow-inspired build-up and headlined with a vibrant Pink Swoosh. Reminds us a lot of the Nike Air Tech Challenge II “Hot Lava” but with a slightly muted pink tone.

Aside from the Air Jordan 1 High, the Mids and even the Lows continue capturing a lot of attention with fire colourways. Various material changes and design updates turn this 80s basketball shoe into an all-around trainer recognised by many. This upcoming colourway boasts a whole new colour blocking for a fresh approach.

The Air Jordan 1 changed the way we view sneakers forever when it first came out in 1985. Attributing to its immense popularity is Michael Jordan himself who had a stellar NBA rookie season en route to his Rookie of the Year award. If there were awards for sneakers, the Air Jordan 1 probably would have won the same.

Comprised of a leather upper, nylon tongue, and a rubber cupsole, the Air Jordan 1 emphasised ankle support. The thick and padded ankle collar hugged the foot for a better fit. Inside the hard cupsole is a heel Air unit for minimal impact protection.

The Air Jordan 1 came out in three primary versions: High, Mid, and Low; but it has since then adopted various styles, fusions, and modern updates.

This Air Jordan 1 Low “Grey Pink Black” is reminiscent of the colours used on the “Shadow” but with an additional touch of Pink. White leather makes up the vamp, while Grey covers the toe, eyestay, and heel. Black finishes off the base on the quarter, tongue, and lining.

Pink adorns the Swooshes, Jumpman logos, as well as the stitching on the cupsole.
