We’ve said it before and we’ll say it again: the Air Jordan 1 Mid deserves more appreciation! Jordan Brand put out fire colourways of the underrated Jordan 1 model in the last few months. And this Air Jordan 1 Mid “Coconut Milk / Grey” looks to bring more heat to the roster as 2022 begins.
Neutral tones on sneakers remain trendy and sporty – without being too attention-grabbing. That’s why a lot of brands utilise natural colours on popular models to keep the fans drooling. One of those popular silhouettes, of course, is none other than the Air Jordan 1. This Air Jordan 1 Mid sports a nice touch of Grey and Sail White and finished off with the ever-so-reliable gum rubber outsole.
Every year, a new Air Jordan 1 colourway is bestowed by Jordan Brand. While most of the time OG and classic colourways re-release in retro form every now and then.
Air Jordan 1’s history dates back to its official launch in 1985. Designed by Peter Moore, the J1 is Michael Jordan’s first signature shoe from Nike. After the hardwood, the Air Jordan 1 transitioned to streetwear and skateboarding – where it became a staple choice.
What makes the shoe great aside from the style is the variety of upper materials. Through the years, fabrics other than the usual leather graced the Jordan 1.
The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Coconut Milk / Grey” features a Sail White canvas base and Grey suede overlays. Its subtle yet alluring construction makes up for a great everyday shoe.
A white rubber cupsole and a gum rubber outsole completes the design.
Scheduled for a January 2022 launch, stay tuned as we approach its release.
