The Air Jordan 1 Mid “Taxi” tries to follow the Air Jordan 1 High “Yellow Toe” with a twist of its own. Yellow, White, and Black make up this fresh new J1 Mid colourway.

While Mids usually become the cause for arguments for some sneakerheads, Jordan Brand already released a bunch of fire colourways. The “middle” silhouette is already becoming the better option for people who can’t get their hands on the more limited High. This new “Taxi” inspired colourway arrives in the same week as the more hyped High version. You already know what you’re copping if you missed out on the latter!

The Air Jordan 1 remains popular after all these years and rightfully so, as Jordan Brand introduces more colourways. Introduced in 1985, the Air Jordan 1 is Michael Jordan’s first-ever signature basketball shoe with Nike after officiall signing with the brand in 1984.

Leather makes up the body of the shoe, with a nylon tongue and rubber cupsole to complete the construction. A Nike Air unit hides in the heel midsole for added cushioning.

This Air Jordan 1 Mid “Taxi” features a mix of Yellow, Black, and White on the leather upper. Black covers the vamp, tongue, lining, and laces. Yellow makes up the toe, eyestay, rear, heel, outsole, and Jumpman tongue. Hints of White appear on the quarter panel for additional detail.
