Tired of catching Ls and paying resell for a pair of Air Jordan 11s? Well, now you can get the iconic hoops shoe’s modernised version for a change! This Air Jordan 11 Adapt “Dark Powder Blue” follows up on last year’s “White / Infrared” rendition. This time it sports a somewhat similar makeover as the Legend Blue that last came out in 2014 (2021 if you include the Lows).

Forever an icon in hoops and streetwear culture. The Air Jordan 11 is Michael Jordan’s favourite model – and well deservingly at that. With patent leather, carbon fibre plate, and full-length encapsulated Air, the J11 was a revolutionary basketball shoe at the time. Decades later, it’s back once more with the addition of FitAdapt technology.

Originally released in 1996, the Air Jordan 11 was a result of one simple MJ request: “a shiny basketball shoe”. And thus the patent leather mudguard became the focus of Tinker Hatfield, at the same time keeping it loaded with tech suited for hooping. Full-length carbon fibre made its debut, and it’s visible on the translucent outsole.

The J11 was a daring shoe, too daring that people actually wore them with suits and ties for formal occasions.

It’s also historically significant in MJ’s career as he won his fourth NBA championship in the 11s. Just about three years after stepping away from the game of basketball for the first time.

The Air Jordan 11 Adapt is the first Air Jordan silhouette to use the brand’s self-lacing technology called Adapt. With the use of the Nike Adapt app on the smartphone or through manual presses on the buttons, athletes can easily tighten and loosen the shoe to their liking.

Inside the Jordan 11 Adapt is a motor and gear that senses the best possible fit for an athlete. The cables then adjust to achieve the comfort you needed.

The Air Jordan 11 Adapt “Dark Powder Blue” features a ripstop mesh upper comprised of grey and powder blue grids. The suede mudguard adds a premium feel to the overall finish. It’s finished off with a white Phylon midsole housing the Adapt buttons on the lateral sides and the Powder Blue rubber outsole.

The shoe comes with a special packaging box and a futuristic wireless charging pad.
