This Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cardinal Red” brings back the beloved elephant print design; but not only that, the new iteration incorporates two complementary hues for an interesting finish. Definitely one of the best Air Jordan 3 colourways we’ve seen recently.

It’s not every day we get a new Air Jordan 3 colour scheme that grabs a lot of attention; until now. With a few additions of pigments, the shoe turned the “heat meter” all the way up. Elephant print graphics also worked their wonders on the special box inspired by the new J3.

Considered to be the shoe that completely changed Michael Jordan’s relationship with Nike. The Air Jordan 3 is Tinker Hatfield’s first designed model for MJ – who was already leaning towards sneaker free agency. The Air Jordan 3 featured a premium leather upper, elephant print mudguard, and the iconic Jumpman logo. Air Max also made its debut in this 1987 hoops shoe.

For basketball fans, the Air Jordan 3 holds even more significance when you talk about Jordan’s impressive resume during the 1987-1988 NBA regular season. “His Airness” won League MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, All-Defensive Team, All-Star MVP, and his iconic free throw line dunk which led to his Slam Dunk contest win.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro “Cardinal Red” features an all-white premium leather upper with elephant print graphics on the mudguard, eyestay, and heel. Cardinal Red covers the metallic lace loops, lining, and PU midsole. Gold-like hues add a luxurious feel on the tongue Jumpman and front eyestay.
