Most Nike Air Max silhouettes started off as a performance running trainer. The soft and bouncy feeling that Air Max provides led to a lot of people wearing them for casual, everyday activities. You may be surprised to find out that Nike only created it’s first lifestyle specific Air Max model in 2018, which came with the Nike Air Max 270. This colourway appears in a classic combination and it’s a real head turner.

Throughout its history, Nike Air Max has given the sports world a plethora of models that have helped athletes perform to their best possible standard. Inspired by the Air Max 93 and also the 180, the Air Max 270 takes its name from the 270-degree visibility of the large Air Max unit in the heel. One of the largest Air Units ever released when they first came out in 2018.

Unlike many other Air Max models the entire Air unit in the heel is exposed.

The Air Max 270 features a breathable mesh upper and has great inner padding for a secure fit. Tiny Nike Swooshes are placed on the midfoot and forefoot for that modern style. A range of other textiles are used to reinforce the sneaker. Modern “270” and “AIR” logos are placed on the tongue, heel, and sides so people know what your repping.

A pull tab is attached to the neoprene padding for easy foot entry.

The soft foam midsole works together with the Air Max 270 unit to provide extreme comfort and impact protection that lasts all day long.

Following a big re-stock in 2021, this Nike Air Max 270 colourway appears in White and Black. The Air Max 270 unit boasts a rather transparent look so you can see right through the window.
