The Nike Air Max 90 is considered the most popular model to feature Nike’s Air Max cushioning technology. Look no further than the countless colourways that arrive. “OG” colourways are undoubtedly the ones that people crave, but this premium “Peace Love Swoosh” drop definitely gives sneakerheads a modern classic.
Introduced in 1990 as the Nike Air Max III, the Air Max 90 first graced the Nike’s shelves as a runner. This shoe helped Nike’s Air Max technology move further towards legendary status. As well as building on Nike’s extreme popularity. Nike Air Max is one of Nike’s patented cushioning systems that features a visible Air unit. The units are filled with air and embedded into the midsole to provide cushioning on impacts and landings.
Now back with more flavours than ever before, this new colourway of the Air Max 90 Premium is part of the “Peace, Love, and Basketball” collection.
Flaunting the usual mesh and textile overlays on the upper, this Nike Air Max 90 is predominantly dressed in white and grey. Colourful hints of Red, Lime Green, Yellow, and Turquoise adorn the eyestays. This is extended to the Nike tag on the tongue. A grey leather lower panel complements the Black Swoosh and the rest of the upper.
An embroidered heel panel showcases a peace sign on the left and a red heart on the right shoe. This adds to the “Peace, Love, and Basketball” theme. Inside the shoe is a colourful sock liner sporting the same logos seen on the heel, but with extra added Nike Swooshes.
The AM90‘s support column houses the visible Air Max unit in red. It’s finished off with a black and grey sole.
Released in September 2021, the Nike Air Max 90 Premium “Peace Love Swoosh” is available now on the Nike website. It can also be found on select retailers worldwide.
