Nike Air Max technology has been around since 1987. It’s revolutionary sneaker technology that changed the way sneakers are viewed forever. It was way ahead of its time and unlike any other shoe technology at the time. That’s why Nike continues to release new silhouettes equipped with the beloved airbag. Introduced in 2021, meet the Nike Air Max Bolt. A Nike lifestyle sneaker offering inspired by modern design.
First things first, the Nike Air Max Bolt is marketed as a lifestyle shoe. It may be running inspired and have a track vibe, but we wouldn’t recommend these for anything other than maybe a gym session.
The breathable mesh base upper is reinforced by synthetic overlays on high-wear areas. Wavy lines adorn the rest of the shoe for an eye catching style. A thin heel clip gives you a locked down fit and solid stability, so you can go about your daily activities with confidence.
Plenty of Nike Swooshes decorate this silhouette, with two on the sides, one on the upper vamp and another on the heel midsole. “Air” brandings are placed on the tongue and the heel panel.
The soft foam midsole has raised sidewalls on the rear to accompany the visible Air Max unit in the heel. More unique design work continues on to the outsole. A distorted waffle traction pattern graces the forefoot, while the rest of the outer edges resemble thick tubes and provide consistent grip. The remainder of the outsole boasts circles and linear patterns.
This colourway lands in a stealthy “Triple Black” finish, always a staple for Nike. It’s the perfect sneaker for just about everything. The Nike Air Max Bolt is definitely a great casual shoe, keep it on your radar if you’re sick of taking an ‘L’ on your favourite hyped creps.
They’re available on the Nike website in the usual array of sizes.
