There are so many great Nike Air Max models throughout the history of the Swoosh. The Nike Air Max Command does exactly that as it continues to quietly post solid sales numbers. It’s greatest selling point being that it provides everything you’re looking for in a simple lifestyle shoe.
As a great everyday sneaker option, the Nike Air Max Command is made with a mixed leather upper. The shoe itself is very plush and has a comfortable padded interior. Discussing the details of the shoe, it’s stitched upper has an old-school structure that’s reminiscent of early lifestyle trainers. Two large Swoosh logos are placed on both sides of the shoe in trademark Nike fashion.
An elevated heel panel and a plush tongue allow for better fit without restricting the ankle too much. The soft foam midsole houses a large visible Max Air unit in the heel. It’s a pretty standard setup nowadays, which works most of the time and provides a comfortable ride and adequate impact protection. A waffle traction pattern on the outsole grips well on most surfaces and is durable.
