Nike ACG Air Mowabb "Trail End Brown / Prism Violet"

Whether you’re living in urban landscapes or traveling through rough terrains, this Nike ACG Air Mowabb “Trail End Brown” stands out. 2021’s the 30th anniversary of the iconic ACG Air Mowabb. And we’re definitely here to anticipate its comeback in stores.

It’s only been two years since the trail-focused Nike All-Conditions Gear line launched in 1989. But the following decade brought so much more in terms of technology and design. Making its debut with Nike is the Huarache technology that arrived in the same year. Huarache features a sock-like neoprene ankle collar and rubber support panels on the heel for a better fit. It gives a less restrictive feeling without compromising on the overall support and stability of the shoe.

Cut-out leather upper sections also provided a lightweight ride so trailblazers can stay on their feet no matter what time it was or where they are. Perforations on the vamp and the sides provide ventilation to keep the feet cool.

The legendary hiking boot also boasted an Air unit encased within the soft foam midsole. Underneath is a thick rubber outsole with lugs on the front for reliable grip on all surfaces.

The latest revival of the ACG Air Mowabb didn’t come without any minor changes. Two pull tabs are added to the neoprene collar to help you slide your foot inside easily. A tiny forefoot Swoosh appears as another 2021 update. The Air Mowabb didn’t feature any Nike Swoosh before, so it was quite a surprise for some ACG fans.

This upcoming colourway appears in Trail End Brown and Prism Violet. Reddish Brown hues make up most of the nubuck leather upper. While vibrant Violet completes the neoprene upper and the inner portion of the outsole. Hints of yellow emblazoned the collar lining, “Nike Air” labels on the heel, as well as the Air Mowabb branding on the outsole.
