London-based Apron Records links up with Nike to put a fresh spin on the Air Max 180. Known for blending electronic music with street culture, Apron brings its signature aesthetic to this limited-edition release. The Dark Atomic Teal upper stands out with a mix of shaggy suede and smooth leather overlays, giving the shoe a premium feel.
A fuzzy set of laces complements the layered look, while metallic silver lace dubraes add contrast. Nike doesn’t hold back on the details either—an animal print Swoosh runs along the side, and faux reptile textures hit the heel for a subtle but bold finish.
Underfoot, the Air 180 midsole keeps things classic with a blacked-out polyurethane foam base and 180-degree Air cushioning in the heel. The outsole stays true to its roots, offering durability and grip with a waffle-patterned tread.
Branding plays a key role here. A vibrant yellow “180” label lands on the tongue, matching Apron’s co-branded detailing on the heel. Special-edition packaging rounds off the release, with exclusive wrapping paper nodding to the label’s history.
Expect the Apron Records x Nike Air Max 180 “Dark Atomic Teal” to drop soon. Keep an eye out for UK release details and where to grab a pair.
