With 4 total colourways in the collab, the first colourway kicks off the launch this late November. DJ Khaled joins the roster of Jordan Brand collabs in 2022. While not as anticipated as other Air Jordans, this is a vital step towards future DJ Khaled Air Jordans.

The Air Jordan 5 is one of the most well-designed Air Jordan Retros of all time. Inspired by World War 2 fighter jets, the AJ5 features a leather upper, plastic netting on the sides, and a plush 3M Reflective tongue. Shark teeth on the forefoot resemble fighter jets that feature the same design.

Jumpman on the tongue and Nike Air on the heel appear for more brand labelling.

Nike Air technology comprises the cushioning of the shoe. An encapsulated unit hides in the forefoot, while the heel boasts a visible air bubble.

Translucent herringbone traction patterns complete the decoupled outsole.

This DJ Khaled x Air Jordan 5 We The Best “Sail” features a Sail leather upper with hints of Blue, Violet, and Yellow. The Violet pigments make up the PU midsole, while Blue covers the quilted inner lining and shark teeth. Yellow accents make up the heel labels and transparent lace lock.

A “WE THE BEST” label appears on the heel portion of the left pair, while the inside of the tongue boasts an inverted KEEP GOING message.
