Highsnobiety x adidas Campus Highart IG8171

Highsnobiety used to write the news, but with this adidas collab, Highsnobiety is the news! The popular fashion and lifestyle media brand Highsnobiety teamed up with the Three Stripes for a simplistic remake of the Campus. While other global footwear retailers got busy with the Consortium Cup featuring the Samba, Highsnob reinvents another shoe. This Highsnobiety x adidas Campus Highart boasts various upper materials with minimalist brand logos.

This is not the first time Highsnobiety and adidas teamed up. The two powerhouse brands in their own industries collaborated on the Ultra Boost and ZX 8000 models before. This is also not the first Campus design from Highsnobiety as the two worked on the Campus 80s in 2016. The latest partnership just strengthens the relationship between the two, which means there will be future releases.

People will always remember the adidas Campus as a subtle lifestyle shoe meant for everyday wear. While true, the shoe actually has a little bit more history in the past.

Adidas launched the Tournament in the early 70s as a basketball shoe. In 1980, the brand renamed it Campus, to transition the basketball aesthetic into lifestyle. This was a success as the Campus became a popular casual crep. Today, the shoe continues to release in a variety of colourways.

The Highsnobiety x adidas Campus Highart features a Sail White canvas base with a Grey leather toe cap. Leather covers the lateral three stripes and the medial panel while suede makes up the lateral eyestays and medial three stripes.

Co-branded Highsnobiety and adidas labels can be seen on the tongue and heel.

This special collab release launches in May 2023.
