New Balance brings back another one from the archives! With the success of retro running trainers, it’s obvious that New Balance will continue bringing out more updated styles. The New Balance 860V2 “Black” arrives in a classic black and metallic silver makeover for a simple finish. This is a much-needed break for people who want to cop a pair but couldn’t get the limited collabs. These New Balance general releases are always impressive!
The 2002r became so successful that New Balance reused its midsole tooling on other models. After the 1906R, the 860V2 also borrows the ABZORB and SBS midsole cushioning setup.
New Balance revisits the late 2000s and early 2010s sneaker archives for idea gathering. This 2023, we take on the New Balance 860V2. The 860V2 originally came out in 2011 as an all-around running shoe. This trainer features a lightweight airy mesh base with synthetic leather overlays for reinforcement. It’s like 2010 all over again!
New Balance brought the shoe back in 2019 for a short run before disappearing once again. 2023 collabs with Teddy Santis’ Aime Leon Dore reignited the identity of this dad shoe.
The same midsole tooling on the 2002r and 1906r makes its way to this updated 860v2. Now, these general release colourways look to take advantage of the dad shoe trend once again.
This New Balance 860V2 “Black” features a black body with metallic silver streaks on the N logos and textile overlays. It’s a great colourway if you want something simple and comfortable without taking too much attention.
This 860V2 releases this May 2023 on New Balance UK.
