New Balance Made in USA 990v3 x Bodega "15th Anniversary"

This New Balance Made in USA 990v3 x Bodega arrives in a special makeover to celebrate Bodega’s 15th anniversary.

Making its debut in 2012, the New Balance 990v3 is a mainstay in New Balance’s lifestyle footwear catalogue. It showcased a huge development compared to its two previous models in the 990 line. It’s also one of the trainers that popularized the “dad shoe” trend during the decade of 2010s. Due to this, the 990v3 remains as a solid option for everyday activities.

Just like most of the New Balance 990 models, the 990v3 features a mesh base upper and reinforced with suede overlays. The iconic “N” detail makes a return in the usual grey finish.

ENCAP cushioning provides ample cushioning and impact protection no matter what your routine is. Underneath is the durable NDurance outsole featuring diamond traction patterns on the forefoot. A carbon fibre plate can be seen on the midfoot section for torsional support.

The New Balance Made in USA 990v3 brings a new colourway for 2021 in partnership with Bodega.

Bodega is a Boston-based sneaker, apparel, and accessories boutique formed in 2006. Its exclusive offerings caught the attention of many sneakerheads and collectors looking to purchase highly-touted products. Because of its popularity, Bodega continued to collaborate with various brands throughout the years.

This latest partnership with New Balance gives the 990v3 a new colour scheme to celebrate Bodega’s 15th anniversary.

Brown and dark khaki mesh underlays and pigskin suede overlays make up the shoe. Bodega labels on the heel are inscribed with 2006 – 2021 embroidery to pay tribute to the brand’s long-running tenure. Blue Green interior lining adds more spice to the special collab.

A gum rubber outsole adorns the outer rubber sections, while blue appears on the diamond traction patterns.

Special sockliners and Bodega-labeled extra laces finish off the design.
