New Balance Made in UK 1500 "Bright Outdoors"

Undeniable premium quality right here. The New Balance Made in UK Series brings forth another 1500 colourway featuring bright and varying pigments inspired by the vast outdoors. Definitely a must-cop lifestyle trainer for New Balance fans.

The New Balance 1500 debuted in 1989 as an all-around trainer. Marketed for basketball and tennis, which was a new direction for the brand that usually focuses on running shoes. It’s designed by the legendary Steven Smith, who is also responsible for some of the most iconic New Balance running silhouettes. The NB 1500 looked to make its own mark in the footwear industry.

A shoe that stuck to its roots whilst bringing a whole new vibe, the New Balance 1500 Made in UK boasts old-school upper materials including leather, suede, pigskin, and nubuck. This works in harmony with the lightweight mesh base. Suede overlays cover the sides of the shoe and the rest of the midfoot panel. A small embroidered “N” is placed on each side.

More New Balance logos adorn the heel, rear, tongue, and even the midsole.

Proudly UK-made, these sneakers are crafted at the New Balance factory in Flimby, Cambria, UK. A classy “Made in England” label can be found on the tongue as the label sets it apart from the rest of the New Balance products.

An ENCAP foam midsole provides excellent impact protection and all-day comfort for the everyday sneakerhead. The New Balance Made in UK 1500 is finished off with a diagonal blade traction pattern for consistent grip on all surfaces.

This new colourway of the New Balance Made in UK 1500 features complementing hues of Blue, Olive Green, Beige, Navy, Yellow, and White. The loud blast of colours took inspiration from the unique aesthetic of the great outdoors. Cordura mesh makes up the base for a more durable finish. Blue, Olive Green, and Navy Blue suede reinforce the shoe further.
