Award-winning singer-songwriter Billie Eilish continues her young yet stellar career with another sneaker collab with the Swoosh. Aside from her usual dilemma with music and her own brand, she’s back with another pack of Air Force 1s. The Nike Air Force 1 Low Billie Eilish “Mushroom” arrives as the counterpart to the AF1 High version released earlier in 2022. Just like the Highs, this pair is one of two colourways in the latest Nike x Billie Eilish AF1 collab.

December 2022 proves to be a busy year for the Nike Air Force 1 Low alone. As the brand closes out the model’s 40th-anniversary celebration during the year, Nike’s rolling out highly coveted pairs. Other Air Force 1 Low releases set in December include Drake, AMBUSH, and UNDEFEATED. All these pairs boast distinct design aspects that set each collab apart from the rest.

The Nike Air Force 1 is an essential shoe in anyone’s closet. But long before this was one of Nike’s most recognisable kicks, the AF1 graced basketball courts in the early 80s.

Released in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 was unlike any other Nike basketball shoe. It was the first hoop shoe to incorporate Nike Air technology, running 3/4 length of the sole. This provided better cushioning than all the other Nike offerings at the time.

This Nike Air Force 1 Low Billie Eilish “Mushroom” headlines Billie Eilish’s first AF1 Low release. Just like all her previous designs with both Nike and Jordan Brand, this pair appears in a monochromatic Mushroom makeover.

Multidirectional geographic shapes comprise the canvas upper with suede overlays to resemble patchwork motifs. A corduroy mudguard covers the lower panel of the sneaker for added protection.

The shoe boasts recycled content like the others. Co-branded sockliners featuring Nike and Billie Eilish plus a special packaging box complete the latest collab.
