Icy fresh mint details with a touch of Grey make up this new Nike Air Force 1 React colourway! This new AF1 silhouette looks to kick things off with a bang as three colourways will release all at once! The Nike Air Force 1 React “Photon Dust Mint Foam” opts for a Grey and Mint Green combo for a complementary blend of colours; definitely no other way to celebrate the Air Force 1’s 40th anniversary than a reimagined version.
Nike brings even more comfort with a new Air Force 1 React model. The first version appeared with a modified upper design and headlined with a full-length React foam drop-in midsole. An embedded Air unit on the heel drop-in midsole provided more bounce than ever before. This new silhouette looks to provide even more cushioning with React directly connected to the cupsole and the Air unit still hiding within.
The Air Force 1’s current perspective to fans may be more of a lifestyle shoe; but its true beginning lies in the basketball court. Released in 1982, the Nike Air Force 1 is the first Nike basketball shoe with Nike Air technology. And its popularity went beyond that as hip-hop and streetwear cultures adopted the AF1 as something bigger than being a sneaker.
This Nike Air Force 1 React “Photon Dust Mint Foam” joins other debut colourways of the new AF1 React model. Grey leather panels make up the front, while transparent Mint Green layers cover the TPU rear construction. Black Swooshes and pull tabs add darker details to the neutral-toned kicks.
Mint Green React foam comes covered with TPU walls on the heel midsole; although it appears on the outsole and medial sidewall.
