We have a set of upcoming Nike Air Max 1 colourways with corduroy uppers, and this one will kick things off. Joining the already impressive lineup of Air Max 1 releases for Air Max Day 2023, this pair hits differently. The Nike Air Max 1 Corduroy “Baltic Blue” goes for a full corduroy construction in Blue with yellowish Sail accents. Really an eye-catcher this one! Perfect for the summer.
As we approach Air Max Day 2023, more styles begin to emerge. Joining the celebration is the Corduroy Pack, featuring various Air Max 1 colourways with corduroy uppers. This Baltic Blue rendition will be the first to release just in time for the festivities.
The Nike Air Max 1 is definitely a game-changer. Back in 1987, Nike officially released the shoe with a design feature never found on any shoe before. The shoe features a mesh body with overlays usually comprised of leather or suede depending on the colourway.
PU foam makes up the midsole of the shoe with an encased Air unit on the forefoot and a visible bubble in the heel. This was the first time Nike exposed the Nike Air unit, which gives the shoe more cushioning and bounce.
Bill Bowerman’s tried and tested waffle sole completes the outsole.
This Nike Air Max 1 Corduroy “Baltic Blue” features a Baltic Blue corduroy upper with Sail Swooshes and tongue labels.
Sail White comprises the PU midsole. The dark rubber outsole boasts White speckles to add more life to the lifestyle shoe.
