Joining the highly anticipated Nike “Air Sprung” collection for 2022 is the Nike Air Max 90. Together with the likes of the Nike Air Max 95 and 97, the “Air Sprung” collection features joyful spring vibes. This Nike Air Max 90 SE “Air Sprung” is just one of two AM90 colourways part of the pack; which means yes, we have a lot to choose from!

As another special edition shoe, the “Air Sprung” Air Max 90 boasts various material combinations on the upper. The colour scheme also follows the same as the one found on the Air Max 97 – fulfilling the rather vibrant theme.

We already know it’s gonna be a hit when various Air Max models join together for one special collection. Nike’s “Air Sprung” collection celebrates spring as fresh elements of nature begin to bloom during that season.

To one-up the original Air Max 1. Tinker Hatfield gave the third Air Max model some TPU panels on key areas. The TPU foam carrier hiding the Air Max provided better support and lessened the chance of the bubble to pop. It was a relief in terms of performance, and a huge pleasure for style. Years later, the Air Max 90 remains as a mainstream lifestyle shoe suitable for just about anyone.

This Nike Air Max 90 SE “Air Sprung” joins an elite roster of Air Max icons in the Air Sprung collection. Mesh makes up the base as usual, while the rest of the overlays come in premium pebbled leather. Other material updates feature a canvas mudguard, and what seems to be corduroy replacing the TPU eyestays.

Coconut Milk and Peach-like hues dominate the body, while hints of Purple and Phantom Red make up the Swoosh, upper eyestay, and Air unit portions.

A smirking mushroom patch appears on the heel panel – probably excited for what spring has in store. Inside the tongue tag are multiple “SWOOOOOOSH” labels (yes, seriously) with a “JUST DO IT” on the bottom.

An “air sprung” label appears on the TPU panel of the lateral section.

Expect an official launch of the Nike Air Max 90 “Air Sprung” in February 2022 on Nike.
