Another attention-grabbing Nike Air Max 90 is upon us early in the year! This time, snakeskin material dominates the upper overlays. The Nike Air Max 90 “Green Snakeskin / Pink” boasts a green snakeskin reinforcement for a premium serpentine finish.
Just like what happens every single year, the Nike Air Max 90 arrives in yet again another fresh colourway. No, literally; the Mint Green hue and soft pastel hits of Pink on this pair totally give it a unique finish rarely seen on an Air Max 90. And it’s about to turn heads in 2022 once it finally lands in retailers!
An immortalised sneaker icon then and now, the Nike Air Max 90 first graced the running industry as Nike’s pioneering Air Max model in the 90s.
Then called the Nike Air Max III, the shoe improved various aspects from its predecessors; most notably the addition of TPU overlays for a more durable upper. The visible Air Max unit in the heel also comes surrounded by a TPU carrier for more support.
Years after debuting as a running shoe, the Air Max 90 made headlines once more as an all-around lifestyle shoe. You get a lightweight and breathable low-top shoe with the brand’s premier sneaker technology at the time; the result? An increase in popularity and demand that surpassed expectations.
This new Nike Air Max 90 “Green Snakeskin / Pink” arrives with a “striking” aesthetic. Alright, we get the clean and classic mesh base in White, but what made it more exciting is the Green snakeskin material all over the upper. Snakeskin makes up the toe, midfoot, and the entire mudguard of the shoe. A black suede Swoosh adds even more premium to the shoe if the snakeskin wasn’t enough.
Pink accents adorn the TPU panels on the eyestay, midsole, and heel.
To put the icing on top, speckles round up the rubber outsole.
Expect an official release on Nike in March 2022.
