The more sustainable version of the iconic Nike Air Max 90 is in full swing for 2022! This Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Black / Anthracite / Lime Ice” arrives in a basic yet eye-catching makeover for the modern era. The Terrascape rendition is definitely something to look forward to as we get more colourways soon.

Sticking to the usual build but with a tweak in materials and some added features; the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape flexes both running and lifestyle heritage for a fresh updated look. This blacked-out version dons yellowish Lime Ice hues for some added flamboyance. A great shoe for all-day activities that will get compliments.

Introduced in 1990, the Nike Air Max 90 first arrived as the Nike Air Max III. Looking to revolutionise the 90s decade where brand new sneaker technologies are emerging, designer Tinker Hatfield made use of TPU all over the shoe.

TPU layers on the eyestay and heel reinforced the mesh and textile upper; while a thick TPU foam carrier housed the namesake Air Max unit in the heel. While originally meant for running, the sneaker culture recognises the AM90 as one of the most comfortable lifestyle shoes around.

The Terrascape version boasts a rip-stop mesh upper with textile overlays. Recycled content such as the Crater foam make up the heel panel and the inner foam carrier; wherein a translucent TPU allows the sustainable foam to be visible.

Crater speckles on the outsole became a mainstay on this recent Air Max 90 revamp.

The Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Black / Anthracite / Lime Ice” arrives with an all-black upper with hints of Lime Ice on the heel panel and midsole. A “Crater Foam” branding can be seen on the heel as the translucent TPU boasts “transparency”.

Stay tuned for an official release in March 2022.
