Definitely a banger pair of AM90s that’s recently gaining traction in the sneaker community.
Adding to the insane lineup of Air Max trainers for 2022 is the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape. A revamped version of a timeless icon, the Terrascape arrives with more sustainable materials as part of the brand’s Move to Zero campaign. This specific colourway will surely catch even more attention just like the rest of the Air Max 90s.
Originally released as a performance running shoe, the Nike Air Max 90 went on to revolutionise sneakers. Sneaker technology evolved in the 90s, and the Air Max 90 (then Air Max III) showcased Nike’s innovation.
Featuring a mesh base with leather overlays and mudguard, the Nike Air Max 90 also captured the attention of streetwear. The slimmer Swoosh placed on a rather bulky trainer headlined a lot of cultures and sneakerheads; making it one of the ideal sneakers for everyday use.
The Air Max unit in the heel encased within a TPU carrier provided the right amount of cushioning and support. It’s because of these features that’s why the AM90 remains popular even in today’s standards.
This Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Grey Haze / Dark Teal Green” features a rip-stop mesh base with synthetic suede and TPU overlays. The mix of Grey, Dark Green Teal, and Seafoam gives it a vintage finish; which is a current trend popularised by Off-White. A Teal Swoosh adds a cooler touch to the upper.
Crater Foam adorns the heel panel and the inner midsole layer. Just like the rest of the Terrascape AM90s, a TPU shell covers the entire sole for added durability.
The speckled semi-translucent outsole completes the design of this new silhouette.
Because of the trainer’s popularity, expect a lot of anticipation for its official drop in March 2022.
