Originally released in 1990, the Nike Air Max 90 revolutionised the already futuristic Air Max footwear line. Mesh, leather, and TPU overlays cover most of the upper for lightweight comfort and improved fit. The visible Air Max unit in the heel comes surrounded by soft foam for that bouncy and responsive ride that runners love.
Multiple years and various versions later, the Nike Air Max 90 is back with the Terrascape iteration.
The AM90 Terrascape features recycled content in the form of a grid-like mesh fabric and Crater Foam. Nike’s Sunburst symbol appears on the sockliner as indication about Nike Move to Zero.
Various updates include: a pull tab on the tongue, a larger Swoosh that extends past the heel panel, a translucent sole, and a padding-less ankle collar.
This Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape “Rattan Khaki” arrives in a Rattan hue with Beige accents all over the upper. Black Swoosh and laces add to the overall details of the shoe.
A translucent sole allows the inner Crater foam to be visible, while the outsole features speckles running full-length.
Definitely a good pair worth trying if you’re looking for an alternative to the OG version. Stay tuned for its official release in April 2022.
