Nike Air Max 95 SE "Air Sprung" DH4755-200

The vibrant and colourful Nike “Air Sprung” collection is starting to bloom as we begin 2022! Previewed in the previous year, the upcoming collection includes some of the classic Nike and Air Max icons. This Nike Air Max 95 SE “Air Sprung” is one of two colourways expected for an official launch come Spring 2022. This pack just continues to grow just like flowers in spring.

Aside from the awesome mix and match of hues, this Nike Air Max 95 also boasts various upper fabrics; leather, canvas, and suede make up most of the upper. Not only that, the entire “Air Sprung” sneakers are part of Nike’s Next Nature initiative under the “Move to Zero” campaign. Recycled materials take part in this cluster.

Launched in 1995, the Nike Air Max 95 was another Air Max masterpiece. Designed by Nike ACG mainstay Sergio Lozano, the AM95 took inspiration from the human body. The wavy upper panels resemble muscles; while the eyestay acts as the ribs; and the entire midsole serve as the spine.

Aside from the “anatomical” design aesthetic, Nike and Sergio Lozano introduced the first-ever forefoot Air Max unit. Instead of having just one on the heel, more Air windows appear inside the foam midsole. This resulted in more cushioning and all-day comfort.

A modified waffle traction sole completes the setup.

This Nike Air Max 95 SE “Air Sprung” features a mix of Sail White, Beige, Light Bone, Purple, and Cream White palettes all over the upper. Materials also collide from pebbled leather to canvas. Teal adorns the mini Swoosh, lace loops, and visible air bags. More purple completes the laces and the suede heel panel.

A butterfly and a caterpillar stay put above the “airsprung” branding on the tongue. While smirking mushroom patterns show up on the midfoot area of the outsole.

Next Nature’s Sunburst logo hides in the sockliner together with another caterpillar (probably looking for a cover beneath the sun).
