When you mention Air Max 95, the Neon Volt colourway first comes to everyone’s mind. This colourway will probably delight all the Air Max fans with another take on the popular mid-90s classic.
The Nike Air Max 95 originally came out in 1995 as the Air Max line takes another step forward. Designed by Sergio Lozano, the AM95 took design inspiration from human anatomy and naturally-occurring soil erosions. Wavy panels on the sides resemble the human muscles, while the lacing setup represents the lungs. The thick foam midsole serves as the spine.
A first for the Air Max series is the heel and forefoot visible air bubble setup. This provides more cushioning and comfort compared to heel-only Air Max silhouettes.
The Nike Air Max 95 “Black Grey Volt” features a Grey leather base while Black covers the upper and tongue panels. Volt accents adorn the tongue, Air Max units, and the cored-out section on the outsole.
Reflective materials comprise the tongue, heel, and strip with Volt Nike Swooshes.
