Special textures are the main highlight of this brand new Air Max 95 colourway. We saw multiple themes from both Western and Eastern cultures make their way to the shoe. Now, this colourway goes aquatic. The Nike Air Max 95 Premium “Fish Scales” boasts recognisable fish scale graphics on the heel and outsole sections. Neutral tones paired with hints of Red make the shoe resemble actual fish!
An icon now and forever, we get new flavours of the coveted Air Max 95. Nike decides to play around with colourways once more, testing out design features that can be popular with many fans. For this rendition, we get fish scales as the main design point of the colourway.
Originally launched in 1995, the Nike Air Max 95 is another monumental sneaker in the Air Max line. Designed by Sergio Lozano, the shoe primarily took inspiration from human anatomy. Weird as it may sound, the shoe features muscles as the wavy panels, ribs as the lacing system, and the spine as the midsole.
Forefoot and heel Air Max units can be visibly found in the sole. This is a first for any Nike shoe and paved the way for succeeding models which then featured full-length Air Max bubbles.
This Nike Air Max 95 Premium “Fish Scales” features gradient tones of Grey that fade to Black from top to bottom. Hints of Red adorn the Nike labels on the tongue and heel, as well as the air bubbles in the forefoot and heel.
Black and White fish scale graphics appear on the heel and cored-out section of the outsole.
