Check out this dazzling, sparkling, and reflective colourway of the Nike Air Max 97 exclusively made for the ladies! The Nike Air Max 97 “Golden Gals” lives up to its title with a shiny upper thanks to the 3M material.

Reflective panels have been a mainstay on the futuristic runner that is the Nike Air Max 97. This colourway goes all out by bringing 3M all over the cracked leather upper. The cracked leather material worked well with the Metallic Gold accent to create a rather glittery effect.

A masterpiece by designer Christian Tresser, the Nike Air Max 97 is a running shoe with a unique upper construction. Comprised of wavy panels, the shoe took inspiration from the natural ripples of water. Various stories claimed that the shoe got some of the sleek design cues on Japanese bullet trains. Nevertheless, the advanced technology on the shoe became so iconic that Nike used it once more on the 97’s successor.

Another unique feature of the Air Max 97 is the hidden lacing setup. The wavy panels hide the eyestays for a symmetrical approach.

The main highlight of the Air Max 97 is the full-length Air Max unit. It’s comfortable and rides high to literally elevate you.

A modified waffle traction pattern on the outsole completes the timeless Air Max icon’s design.

This Nike Air Max 97 WMNS “Golden Gals” features a cracked leather upper in Metallic Gold to give it a gleaming finish. Reflective 3M detailing returns on the wavy lines to add to the fancy makeover.

The tongue, lining, and outsole come in black. While the midsole flaunts in white.

This ladies-exclusive AM97 will release in December 2021.
