The biggest Air Max unit on any Nike shoe finally lands in stores this September. Looking like a legacy of the futuristic Vapormax, the Air Max Scorpion takes cushioning to the next level – literally! This Nike Air Max Scorpion “Phantom Light Cream” boasts yellowish hues on the reinforced Flyknit upper. The aesthetics may very well divide a lot of Air Max fans, but those searching for comfort are pretty excited!
When the Vapormax hit the stores back in 2017, the shoe saw surprised faces because of the new VaporMax technology. The new Air Max Scorpion silhouette already brings a lot of curiosity due to its rather bizarre design. Be that as it may, the full-length segmented AirSole looks so bouncy and comfortable!
While not officially a Vapormax, the Nike Air Max Scorpion sure does have a lot of Vapormax DNA. Introduced in 2022, the Air Max Scorpion features a Flyknit upper with a one-piece sock-like collar for a lightweight ride. Flywire acts as secondary eyestays apart from the lace loops and improves the overall fit. The Nike Swoosh logos appear on the sides for brand labelling.
Air Max logos adorn the tongue in subtle form.
The main highlight of the shoe is the large Air Max sole. A TPU piece serves as the bridge between the upper and the sole – adding extra height and rides high for a bouncy feel.
Rubber traction pods on the outsole utilise herringbone for consistent grip.
This Nike Air Max Scorpion “Phantom Light Cream” is one of the debut colourways of the latest Air Max model. It features a Light Cream upper with yellowish hues on the rest of the panels.
Stay tuned for more updates as Nike unveils more colourways soon!
