Arguably the most bizarre Nike shoe of the last five years rolls out in brand new colourways before 2022 ends. You already know what we’re talking about, the freshly introduced Air Max Scorpion will continue to release no matter what! This Nike Air Max Scorpion “Wolf Grey Volt” arrives in a recognisable Grey and Volt makeover like the AM95. Maybe this colourway will finally convince you to try the shoe!
Nike proudly flaunts the Air Max Scorpion as one of the first Nike sneakers fully developed remotely. With the pandemic hindering face-to-face office sessions, Nike relied on technology to discuss the design and create the shoe. The brand truly went all out with this one, just look at that large Air unit!
Just when we thought we’ve seen the last of the VaporMax, Nike introduces a new and completely different silhouette. The Nike Air Max Scorpion poses obvious Vapormax details such as the Flyknit upper and Air Sole. But this shoe is unlike any Nike Vapormax from before.
While it features a Flyknit upper, the Air Max Scorpion also boasts Chenille fabrics around the eyestays and tongue. Underneath the upper is a large volume Air Sole unit, the largest air bubble yet, and provides you maximum cushioning and “additional height”.
The Nike Air Max Scorpion “Wolf Grey Volt” features a Grey Flyknit upper with Black mudguard overlays and Air Max sole. Volt and Blue tones make up the Swooshes and Air Max labels on the tongue and heel.
Stay tuned for more Air Max Scorpion releases this back-end of the year as Nike pushes the new model to the market.
