Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus "Rattan" DN4587-200

New colourways of the latest Terrascape roster addition finally start surfacing! This Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Rattan” seems to follow the same design theme started by the AM90 Terrascapes. The “Rattan” makeover also makes its way to the marquee Tuned Air Max model! Nike just keeps on finding new ways to keep their iconic trainers sustainable yet still look appealing.

Nike definitely hit the park with the debut of the Nike Air Max 90 Terrascape. Because of its booming success, Nike’s now ready for more. Enter the Air Max Terrascape Plus; staying true to Tuned 1 form but with various material updates and upper changes such as the separate cage. We already recently covered the “Navy Pink” colourway, but we’re still far from over with these fire pairs set to arrive!

The Nike Air Max Plus came out in 1998, forging a brand new advancement of Nike’s Air technology. First, there was regular Air; then there was Air Max; the Tuned Air Max technology aimed to provide even more support while keeping the same level of comfort and bounce.

The recently unveiled Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus retains the Tuned 1’s DNA, but now with recycled content. The rip-stop mesh comprises the upper, while the wavy TPU fingers were replaced with embroidered stitches. Adding structure to the shoe is the separate lace cage which also serves as the mudguard.

An enlarged Swoosh adorns the forefoot to midfoot section.

Crater foam makes up the midsole, while the whale’s tail midfoot shank remain true to form. Underneath is the Nike Grind rubber outsole.

TS labels appear on the shoe, referring to Terrascape.

This Nike Air Max Terrascape Plus “Rattan” features Rattan, Black, and Sail White hues on this sustainability-focused trainer.
