Nike Blazer Mid '77 EMB "Summit White" DV0797-100

More EMB styles arrive for us in 2023. Aside from the impressive Valentine’s Day 2023 collection, Nike has another awesome pack for all of us. Enter the EMB! Short for Embedded, Nike icons join together in this premium roster. The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 EMB “Summit White” rocks cracked leather details in neutral colours for a minimalist approach.

Looks like Nike enjoyed too much of the Lost and Found 1′s cracked leather upper and implemented it in other Nike icons. We already saw the AF1 and Nike Dunk High join the EMB pack, now, the classic Blazer Mid is up next. The shoe may be nowhere near the popularity of Dunks and Air Jordans these days, but we always welcome icons.

Long before the Nike Air Force 1, Air Jordan 1, and Zoom basketball shoes were a thing, the Blazer was the pioneer. Introduced in the early 70s, the Nike Blazer is one of the brand’s first basketball shoes next to the Bruin. The shoe features a high ankle collar that covers the rear while the large Swoosh adorns the side panels.

Due to its popularity, Nike modified the shoe with skateboard versions and more modern styles.

The next time we think of legendary basketball shoes, the Nike Blazer will always belong on the list.

This Nike Blazer Mid ’77 EMB “Summit White” features a Summit White upper made with cracked leather. The White Swooshes also come with the same texture to achieve a rather deconstructed vintage look.

Grey midsoles and Gum rubber outsoles complete this simple design.

This pair releases in February 2023 along with other EMB Nike models.
