The Nike Clogposite “Dusty Cactus” is back—and it’s looking even wilder the second time around. Originally designed in the early 2000s as a post-game option built from the DNA of the Foamposite and Flightposite, this oddball silhouette has found new life in today’s fashion landscape. And with this latest version, Nike leans into the nostalgia while experimenting with fresh visual tricks.
The standout feature here is the upper. A near-one-piece moulded shell wraps the foot in classic Posite fashion, but this time it’s finished with a lenticular effect that shifts between “Dusty Cactus” and “Persian Violet” depending on your angle. It’s a finish rarely used at this scale, and it brings a surprising sense of movement to a silhouette that already pushes boundaries.
Black accents on the sole and inner collar provide some balance to the colourful upper, while breathable textiles keep things wearable. And since it’s a clog, it’s easy to slip on and off—making it just as practical as it is visually bold. Whether worn as a pre-game statement, recovery shoe, or just something unexpected on the street, the Clogposite finds its niche.
Though it borrows its form from classic basketball silhouettes, this release feels firmly planted in the now. It’s not trying to be sleek or understated. It’s weird, unapologetic, and hard to ignore.
