The most popular Nike Dunk colourway finally receives the high-cut treatment. The Nike Dunk High “Panda Black / White” raises the ankle collar of the classic two-tone makeover. Also probably raising the standard on the Highs just like how it was with the Lows. Either way, these are definitely clean!
While the immense popularity and seemingly endless restocks of the Dunk Low Pandas seem hard to match; this High version may very well match the Low-cut rendition with its style. Because of the same two-tone Black and White, expect a lot of people to try and get their hands on these.
The Nike Dunk’s story began in 1985; Nike introduced new basketball footwear styles. Along with the Air Jordan 1, the Nike Dunk headlined the brand’s hoops offerings. Featuring a leather upper, nylon tongue, and a rubber sole, the Dunk was as simple as it gets; but that became the main focus as to why it remains as one of the most coveted sneakers around.
Nike’s “Be True To Your School” campaign in the 80s equipped various Nike-sponsored NCAA schools with Nike Dunks donning their school colours. As a result, a lot of flavours and complementary combinations emerged. Even years after the original release, most of these colourways are considered grails by many.
This Nike Dunk High “Panda Black / White” finally gets a much-deserved debut. After the Panda Dunk Lows proved to be the most popular among all Dunks, the High takes its turn. It features the two-tone Black and White colour blocking, exactly like its low-top counterpart. It’s clean, simple, and easy to match with just about any outfit in the wardrobe!
An Orange Nike label on the sockliner adds a different hue but it’s barely noticeable since it’s literally inside the shoe.
Stay tuned for its official release this April 2022 on Nike.
