Fill it with brand labels so they never forget. That’s probably what Nike had in mind when creating this new colourway. Part of the “Copy Paste” collection, the Nike Dunk Low SE “Copy Paste” does a unique rinse and repeat method. It changes the whole style of the colourway, though, as the brand put the classic Nike Swoosh all over the mesh upper in all directions. Quite exciting what Nike has in store for the whole “Copy Paste” pack.
We’ve already seen the “Copy Paste” rendition on the classic Air More Uptempo ’96. But this time, the Nike Dunk makes use of the version by updating the upper materials and slapping a lot of Nike labels all over.
The Nike Dunk originally came out in 1985 as a marquee basketball shoe. With the collegiate hoops scene catching a lot of attention, Nike made sure to ride the wave with the “Be True To Your School” campaign. Various Nike-sponsored college teams wore two-tone Nike Dunks featuring their school colours. Most of these ended up becoming highly sought-after pairs when they re-released decades later.
Now back as one of the most popular lifestyle sneakers around; the Nike Dunk turned back time with its classic style. Just like its companion the Air Jordan 1, both remain highly in-demand across the world!
This Nike Dunk Low SE “Copy Paste” joins other expected “Copy Paste” edition Nikes. It features a mix of Grey leather and mesh body. A Light Grey leather overlay covers the front up to the eyestay, while a darker shade makes up the rear and the heel panel. Mesh makes up the vamp, quarter, collar, and tongue. Various Nike Swoosh labels adorn the mesh areas.
Orange Nike Swoosh on the tongue and a colourful overlapping Nike on the sockliner add more vibrance to the shoe.
The Black Swoosh, lining, and outsole complement the aesthetic of the shoe because of the overall tones.
Keep an eye out for its official release on April 2022 on Nike.
